You're Not Done Yet - Peak Season and CCCX in January

Kudos to David Gill and Keith Defiebre - they are hell-bent on keeping the Cyclocross Season going strong right through January. The rest of the world does, so why shouldn't we? There are four races scheduled in January at GREAT venues. CCCX #6 is on January 8th, and David Gill has announced the Peak Season Cyclocross series over the following three weekends, all in Watsonville, culminating with the Santa Cruz County Cyclocross Championships on January 29th. See the Calendar for more details.

Woohoo! Couldn't make it to today's race at "The Ord" because of my back. But now I have something to look forward to all through January. And then, before you know it, it will be mtn. bike season.....

Sunday's course totally rocked! It had a bit of everything including lots of sections where you could really work up some speed and lots of sections that were fun and twisty (get your swerve on)that made you go slow. The euro-style course deserved UCI status or something ;~)Maybe someday when cross gets big corporate sponsorship, live streaming video action and Dave and Keith are cyclo-pimps.
