NCNCA Cup #4 On Tap @ CCCX

Howdy 'cross fans,

Here we are in mid November and just about the midpoint of the season. This is where you find out if your early season fitness was just a flash in the pan or if you have hit a groove that will take you through to December (and January if you are a Peak Season fan.)
On deck this week: Round 4 of the NCNCA Cup presented by Sycip, hosted by Central Coast CX at Manzanita Park in Prunedale. Along with the Watsonville fairgrounds, Manzanita Park is one of the longtime classic venues of the 831 area code. Hernando did a writeup on the season opener at Manzanita, read it here. With hills, grass, a solid runup and a few technical bits this site has something for everyone. Just be prepared to suffer!

In other 'cross news, Saturday has a round of the Sagebrush series in Nevada for all you mountain folk. And for some of us this weekend is the pinnacle of the whole year: the Single Speed Cyclocross World Championships in Portland - great concept, and a pretty interesting format to boot. Enjoy!

I am ready to suffer like a fool with a smile on my face. I hope it rains, so I can do some damage on the grass sections.

Last weeks BASP was hard and fun, and this thing will be hard and fun too.

I really want to watch the women go at it and see who is fastest on the day.

thanks Dave C.

Foolish One.

Really enjoying the Nor Cal cup. It does give reason to get out of town and race a new venue. Thanks to all for making it happen.
