Fill 'Er Up - Peak Season, National Events added to Calendar

David Gill has sent us five more dates for Team Santa Cruz's Peak Season Cyclocross series. David's idea of "peak season" seems to be redefined - the first date is in September...

I've also added the USGP races and the planned World Cup event in Providence to the calendar.

More Races!

The calendar has just been given a boost with SEVEN more events - all thanks to a new series being organized by Livermore-based BMX promoter Shane Huntoon. All events will take place at a great venue, Robertson Park, which many of us recall from District in years past. I'll inquire as to how tentative these dates are, but this definitely helps fill out the calendar as well as provide us with a chance to get some early season fitness (first race is slated for 9/1). More to come...

Preliminary 2007 Calendar Is Up!

Dust off your rig, the preliminary 2007 NCNCA Cyclocross Calendar is up. A couple noteworthy changes this year include a slimmer, meaner Sac Series, the possibility of only one Surf City race. Other than that we hopefully will add a few more events to the calendar, but so far it's shaping up to be another great season of racing in Northern California. Here are a few dates to whet your appetite: 9/23- Sacramento #1, 9/30- CCCX #1, 10/7- BASPS #1...more to come.
